🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1966, a witness in Westerville, Ohio, reported seeing a white object in the sky. The object, described as similar to a star, appeared on two separate occasions. In the first instance, it disappeared behind a cloud, and in the second, behind some trees. Although it was suggested it could have been a civilian aircraft, there was no physical evidence or photographs. The report concluded it was an unidentified aerial phenomenon.
The object was described as round, with sharp edges, and its brightness was compared to that of a star. The witness did not register any sound or changes in the object's appearance. Despite considering the possibility of nearby aircraft, the identity of the phenomenon could not be confirmed with certainty. The case was filed without a definitive resolution.
