Summary

On the night of June 16, 1966, a witness in Houston, Texas observed three lights in the sky for 35 minutes. Two of them emitted white light and moved slowly, while the third, red in color, moved quickly. One of the white lights passed behind a small cloud, which caught the observer's attention. The description of the lights did not match natural objects or known satellites.

The Blue Book Project report, responsible for investigating UFO sightings, concluded that the lights could be satellites or aircraft. However, due to the lack of detailed information, the witness was asked to complete a questionnaire to provide more data. This case reflects the difficulty the Air Force had in identifying non-conventional aerial phenomena, especially when testimonies lacked key elements such as photographs or precise measurements.
