🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1966, three witnesses in Lycoming, New York, observed a bright object in the eastern sky for about an hour. The report notes that the object showed no apparent movement, which initially caused some confusion. However, investigators concluded that what they were seeing was Venus, which at that time of year was rising in the east with a notable stellar magnitude. Although it seemed unusual at first, it was determined to be a normal astronomical observation.
The document, though partially illegible, shows how UFO reports often result from natural phenomena that, when analyzed, have scientific explanations. This case is an example of how human curiosity can intertwine with science, leading to investigations that ultimately clarify the situation.
