🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1966, a witness in Northlake, Illinois, reported seeing an unidentified flying object. The sighting occurred on June 10 at 20:03, and lasted approximately two minutes. The observer, a civilian, saw the object from the ground and described it as moving east. Although the report requested more details, the testimony was considered insufficient for a full evaluation. The Air Force's Project Blue Book, responsible for investigating such cases, asked the witness to complete an additional form to provide more information.
The case did not include photographs or physical evidence, which limited the possibility of a deeper analysis. Despite the lack of concrete data, the testimony was recorded and the citizen was thanked for reporting the experience. This type of report, although incomplete, was common during the Project Blue Book era, which aimed to understand unidentified aerial phenomena. In this case, however, no clear conclusion was reached.
