Multiple UFOs over South Dakota

Summary

In July 1966, two U.S. Air Force airmen reported multiple unidentified flying objects over South Dakota. The observers initially saw a red object near the horizon, which disappeared and reappeared after they moved to a new location. Later, a greenish-white object approached the red one, and three additional objects appeared to the west, moving close to the ground. Two of them were yellow, and one green object darted rapidly between them. The observers tracked the objects for over an hour and a half. An Air Force helicopter was dispatched to investigate but failed to identify anything concrete. Investigators concluded that the sightings could be due to reflected lights in clouds or the observers' imagination.
