🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1966, a witness in Macedonia, Ohio, observed a bright blue and white object moving southward. The sighting lasted three minutes and was reported as a ground-based visual observation. Initially, it was thought the object was heading east, but the direction was later corrected to south. Although no photos were taken and no physical evidence was found, investigators concluded the object could have been a satellite, given its description and behavior.
The report includes a detailed questionnaire from the U.S. Air Force to gather information about the phenomenon. The observer described the object as bright, with clearly defined edges and no changes in shape or brightness. No noise or smoke was recorded. Despite the brief sighting, the testimony was enough to consider a plausible explanation related to known space objects.
