Summary

In November 1974, a U.S. citizen wrote to the CIA requesting information about unidentified phenomena. The official response included historical documents, such as minutes from a 1952 meeting where experts analyzed the topic. Although the existence of reports and studies was acknowledged, it was concluded that there was no direct threat to national security. A 1953 report titled "Report on Unidentified Flying Objects" was also attached, summarizing the conclusions of a group of scientists. These types of official documents help understand how authorities dealt with UFO cases in the second half of the 20th century.
