🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1966, a witness in Alexandria, Virginia, observed an object resembling a third-magnitude star. The object exhibited erratic movements and traveled from the northwest toward the east. The observation lasted 10 minutes and was made visually without optical instruments. The report concluded it could be the satellite KCO I.
The witness, a 26-year-old technician, described the object as white with chaotic motion. Although initially considered a satellite, there was no physical evidence or photographs to confirm the sighting. The report was classified under Project 10073 and distributed to several military units for analysis. The witness was deemed highly reliable, adding interest to this case.
