🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1966, a witness in Arroya Seca, California, observed a bright object moving rapidly northward. The sighting lasted about 10 seconds and the object disappeared behind a mountain. The witness, a 13-year-old boy, described it as a bright white light, brighter than the stars. Although he tried to estimate its speed, he said it was twice as fast as any satellite he had seen. The report concluded there was insufficient information for evaluation.
The witness stated that his father, an Air Force sergeant with 20/20 vision, also reviewed the case to rule out a satellite. However, the object never returned, raising more questions than answers. Despite the clear description, no photos were taken and no physical evidence was found, complicating any further analysis.
