🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1966, a witness in Dallas, Texas, observed an object with unusual lights. The report describes how the observer saw four to five bright lights grouped together, with three others evenly spaced. The object flew directly over his house with a dipping motion and then made a series of turns before disappearing. Although the possibility of an advertising aircraft was considered, there was no official confirmation of such activity in the area. The FAA reported no unusual sightings or radar observations at the time.
The report includes a letter from the Love Field Airport control tower in Dallas, confirming no unusual sightings on the day of the incident. Despite the lack of physical evidence, the witness insisted it was not an airplane, helicopter, balloon, or weather phenomenon. The object was estimated to be 4 to 10 feet in diameter and moving at 30 to 40 miles per hour. The witness, a 32-year-old man with Navy and security experience, gave a detailed account, adding credibility to the sighting.
