Summary

In October 1966, a family in Osceola, Wisconsin, observed a mysterious object in the sky. The object appeared as a bright ball, similar to the moon, and remained stationary for a while before rising and moving westward. The observation lasted about 20 minutes, and although the witnesses described it as very bright, they did not take photos or find physical evidence. The U.S. Air Force requested more information but the case remains unsolved.

The description of the object suggests it was not a natural phenomenon or a conventional aircraft. The witnesses saw it disappear into the distance after several unusual movements, including stops and westward motion. Despite the Air Force's efforts to investigate, the object could not be identified. This case is another example of the many UFO reports that remain unexplained, adding to the mystery of unidentified aerial sightings.
