Summary

In October 1966, a witness in Altavista, Virginia, reported the observation of an unidentified object with bright lights moving unpredictably. The report mentions that the object, seen on several occasions, had no defined shape and behaved in a way impossible for conventional aircraft. Sometimes it moved very slowly, other times very fast, and no sound was ever detected. On one occasion, the lights were red, and on others, they appeared between observers and identifiable planes landing nearby.

An additional testimony comes from a woman who, along with her husband, saw an object the size of a basketball at tree-top level. The object had no defined shape, emitted a bright white glow, and made sharp turns. The observation lasted about three minutes. This woman also mentioned seeing other UFOs on other occasions, suggesting a series of unexplained aerial phenomena in the area during that time.
