🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
Two observers in Athens, Ohio, reported seeing two objects in the northern sky on October 14, 1966. The objects were moving in different patterns, one of them becoming extremely dim when turning or changing direction. At one point, both objects were visible simultaneously through binoculars. The observation lasted about 90 minutes.
The report's conclusion states that the description is consistent with an aircraft observation. Although no refueling tracks were found in the area, it was suggested that aircraft might have been conducting a training mission. No evidence was found to support the presence of unidentified objects.
