🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1966, a witness in Tampa, Florida, observed a formation of eleven unidentified objects for three hours and ten minutes. Ten of them had a donut shape and alternated colors such as red, yellow, and green. The eleventh appeared as a circle of white light. The witness described these objects as not transparent, unlike the lights of commercial airplanes. One object, called the "mother ship," emitted a green flash without making any sound.
The report includes a diagram with the objects' flight paths, prepared by the witness, and annotations by the investigator. The weather was clear with light winds. Despite the long observation time and detailed description, no physical evidence was found. The investigating officer concluded the lights could have been mistaken for satellites, stars, or aircraft lights, but did not rule out the possibility of an unexplained phenomenon.
