🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1966, two witnesses in Farmingville, New York, reported a bright object moving across the sky. They described a star-like object, white in color, traveling northward and then westward. The object made a sharp turn and remained stationary over the town of Southtown. The observation lasted 75 minutes, and although initially considered possibly an aircraft, the object was not consistently observed. Eventually, it was suggested the object could have been the star Arcturus, though no photos were taken and no physical evidence was found.
