In November 1966, a witness in Minnesota observed a group of bright lights that changed colors and moved in an unusual way. While driving on a rural road, she noticed the lights were almost touching the ground and would suddenly vanish as she approached. The lights displayed colors like yellow, orange, and blue, and seemed to move without a clear pattern. The official report suggested it could be an unusual atmospheric phenomenon, such as ball lightning, though no physical evidence was found to confirm this.
The area where the sighting occurred was wooded with recent snowfall. Other local residents also reported seeing similar lights in the weeks prior, adding to the mystery. Despite multiple investigations, including interviews with witnesses and terrain analysis, no clear origin for the lights was identified. The snow showed no signs of activity, and the lights were only visible at night, making any conventional explanation difficult.
