🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1966, an observer in Colorado Springs, Colorado, spotted a silver-colored object maneuvering in the air, moving left, right, and up and down with slight elevation changes. The object, reported to be about 25 feet in diameter, was photographed that night and again the next day. The photos showed the object likely had a diameter between 1 and 2 feet, suggesting it was at a considerable distance from the camera.
Photo analysis confirmed the images were genuine and not altered. The object appeared as a flattened cylinder with a domed top and flat bottom, showing no signs of movement or activity. Although the observer claimed to have seen something, the analysis could not conclusively identify the object. The official report concluded the data was insufficient for a definitive evaluation, and the object was not supported as real.
