UFO in saucer shape over Georgia

Summary

In November 1966, a witness in Georgia observed an unidentified object described as two inverted saucers stacked one on top of the other. The object was silver-colored, smooth, and approximately the size of a delivery truck. While driving, the witness noticed the object blocking the road and remaining motionless before taking off at a very shallow angle. For six minutes, the UFO stayed close to the vehicle, only a few yards above and behind it, until it disappeared to the right. The witness also reported that the object had flashing red lights and several white lights, and that her car radio emitted a buzzing sound as she approached.

The Air Force concluded that there was insufficient information for a scientific evaluation. The report notes that the UFO left no physical evidence and that weather conditions were favorable for observation. Although it was suggested that the buzzing might have been caused by nearby high-voltage power lines, no other clear explanations were found. The case remains unsolved, like so many others in UFO history.
