🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1966, an 18-year-old man reported an unusual aerial phenomenon in Beachwood, New Jersey. According to his testimony, he observed three distinct objects in the sky. One of them was a flashing red light moving rapidly toward the south, while the other two bright silver objects traveled in the opposite direction, toward the north. The witness, along with a friend, observed the phenomenon for a few minutes before the objects disappeared from the sky. Initially thinking they might be airplanes, they soon dismissed this possibility due to the unusual speed and behavior of the objects. The report includes drawings and detailed descriptions of the event, indicating that the witness took the sighting very seriously.
The report was sent to the U.S. Air Force's Project Blue Book, which classified it as "possibly aircraft." However, the witness was not satisfied with this response and wrote again five months later to seek more information. Although the report does not provide a clear explanation, the drawings and description suggest that the witness saw something that did not fit the conventional. This case is an example of how testimonies from ordinary people can contribute valuable information to the study of UFOs, even if a definitive conclusion is not reached.
