🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1966, two witnesses in Honda Canyon, California, reported a red glowing object that appeared to follow a creek bed. The object was observed for several seconds before disappearing over a hill. Initially thought to be an aerial craft, further analysis suggested it could have been a ground vehicle such as a truck or camper. The confusion was attributed to weather conditions and the terrain.
The official investigation concluded it was not a UFO, but an unidentified ground light. The observers, missile photographers, did not recognize the object as anything conventional. Despite checking weather conditions and contacting various agencies, no alternative explanation was found. A helicopter later confirmed a dirt road in the area, supporting the theory of a ground vehicle.
