🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1966, two young boys in New York City reported seeing an object with two lights, one at each end. The object was moving slowly, too slow to be a helicopter, and made a series of unexpected turns. The witnesses told their mother what they saw, who then reported it to the military. Although an aircraft was considered possible, the description didn't quite fit typical aircraft behavior.
The report, part of Project 10072, does not include photos or physical evidence. The observers gave a detailed account of how the object passed within less than a block of them, suggesting it was seen clearly. Despite the lack of additional proof, the detailed and consistent description from the witnesses led to the case being officially recorded.
