🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian observer in Boulder, Colorado, reported a star-like object that changed colors over 20 minutes. The object, initially white, displayed hues of red, green, purple, and blue. Despite remaining visible after the observation, there was no attempt at identification or follow-up. The report suggests the object might have been the star Sirius, known for its brightness and low horizon position, which often leads to confusion with unconventional aerial phenomena.
