🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 1966 report describes a blue-white light seen by a woman and her son in Monroe, New York. The observation occurred on a clear and dark night when the son noticed the light near the horizon and drew his mother's attention. The light moved northward for seven minutes before disappearing behind a hill. No shape or size could be determined, only that it was a light. The investigating officer concluded it could be a satellite or reflected car lights, given the strong thermal inversion that night. Although no physical evidence was found, the report considers a conventional explanation most plausible.
