🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1967, an observer in Roseville, California, spotted an unidentified object that caught their attention due to its unusual movement and considerable size. The object, described as three times the size of a basketball, displayed a basic silver color that shifted to reddish and orange tones before returning to its original state. It emitted no noise or exhaust trail, making it even more mysterious. The observer, using binoculars, noted that the object moved in circular and zigzag patterns before slowly heading east and disappearing from view. The weather conditions were ideal for observation, with 15 miles of visibility and clear skies, increasing the credibility of the sighting.
The Air Force responded to the report by requesting more information through a form, but could not identify the object based on the provided data. Despite investigating all local sources and interviewing the witness, no clear conclusion was reached about the nature of the object. This case, like many others, adds to the file of unresolved sightings that continue to generate curiosity and debate in the world of UFO phenomena.
