🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1967, two witnesses in Hazelcrest, Illinois, reported observing unidentified flying objects for several months. An investigator visited the witnesses in person and confirmed that most of the observed objects were actually aircraft, planets, and stars. However, one object, an oval metallic body with holes at the base, did not fit into conventional categories. The witnesses, who lacked basic astronomical knowledge, believed they were being observed by extraterrestrial beings. Additionally, they used a Ouija board to receive messages from these "beings," adding a mysterious element to their experiences. The investigator concluded that while most sightings were explainable, the case presented interesting psychological and social aspects.
