🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1967, a family in Lees Summit, Missouri, observed several unidentified flying objects during the night. They saw two distinct objects: one round with white lights and another with a red light, moving in unexpected ways without a fixed formation. The objects performed maneuvers such as ascending, descending, and hovering over the surface, without emitting sound. The incident involved 18 people, including children and neighbors, who confirmed the presence of the objects. Despite efforts by the Air Force, a conclusive evaluation was not possible due to insufficient data.
The Air Force responded to the report by requesting more information through a form, but could not confirm the nature of the objects. The weather was clear and optical conditions were favorable, yet neither the telescope nor the radars could capture the objects. Although police support was dispatched and a nearby aircraft was contacted, there was no visual confirmation. The case was closed without a definitive explanation, but the observation was recorded as part of the UFO files of that time.
