🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian observer in Edinburg, Texas, reported in February 1967 seeing a round, yellowish object about the size of a dime. The object was moving steadily toward the south with a constant light before disappearing quickly. The observation lasted about five minutes and was made visually from a Cessna aircraft. Weather conditions were clear with good visibility, aiding the observation. Although the report did not conclude with certainty, it suggested the object could be a satellite, possibly one of the Pegasus satellites. The description and behavior of the object matched what would be expected from a satellite observation, though other possibilities were not ruled out.
