In February 1967, three witnesses in Grand Haven and Holland, Michigan, reported the sighting of an unidentified aerial object. The incident lasted about one hour and eleven minutes, with testimonies describing a bright object with red and green lights on its sides. Although Venus was considered a possibility, astronomical calculations indicated that the planet would not be visible at that time or from those locations. Witnesses also mentioned sudden and erratic movements of the object, raising doubts about whether it was a conventional aircraft. The investigation concluded that the object could not be clearly identified, remaining in the category of unconventional phenomena.
