🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1967, a witness in Wheatridge, Colorado, reported an unidentified flying object with unusual features. The UFO appeared as a long and narrow object with a white outline and flashing red lights on both ends. In the center, there was a large, rapidly rotating white light. The object had a long row of windows, longer than a commercial jet, but no wings. It moved in an easterly direction, in level flight, and was observed for about 4-5 minutes, with 1 minute viewed through a telescope.
The official conclusion of the report did not rule out the possibility that the object was an aircraft, although no clear evidence supported this. The report included photographs and physical evidence, suggesting the observation was taken seriously. The case is part of Project 10073, a U.S. Air Force initiative to investigate UFO sightings.
