🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1967, a witness in Erie, Pennsylvania reported seeing four white objects moving in a straight line. The observation lasted about 45 seconds and was made visually from the ground. Although the report mentions no physical evidence was found, the witness insisted what was seen could not be a natural phenomenon or an aircraft. The official Air Force response acknowledged the sighting but noted there was not enough information for a scientific evaluation.
The document includes a formal request for the witness to complete a more detailed form, the FTD Form 164, to gather additional data. Despite the lack of physical evidence, such reports are valuable for compiling data on unidentified sightings. The case was filed without a clear explanation, but it remains an example of how the Air Force documented and handled UFO reports in the 1960s.
