🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1967, a civilian in Kettering, Ohio, observed an object in the sky that had no defined shape, only a light that changed colors. The object appeared like a star, but brighter, and moved northeast. The observation lasted about 20 minutes and was recorded by the U.S. Air Force as part of Project 10073. The report indicates that the object left no physical evidence and its behavior did not match known phenomena.
The report describes how the observer noticed the object's light cycling through red, green, and white, making it stand out against the starry background. Although no photos were taken and there were no additional witnesses, the detailed description of the movement and the precise location of the object helped researchers document this case. The official conclusion of the report was that the object was the star Arcturus, although the observer did not immediately recognize it.
