🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Oklahoma City reported seven red glowing objects that changed to white and back again. The objects, twice the size of Venus, had no defined shape and moved at high speed, even double that of commercial aircraft. The observer, a 30-year-old woman, saw the objects from the southwest, northwest, and other directions, but couldn't estimate their altitude. The observation lasted between 2 and 3 minutes per object, totaling 7 minutes.
Weather conditions were windy and damp, with scattered clouds and 11 miles of visibility. Despite detailed meteorological data, investigators found no conventional explanation for the phenomenon. Normal air traffic, balloon releases, and other common factors were ruled out. The responsible officer, 1st Lt. Stephen P. Condon, concluded there was no clear explanation, though he suggested the possibility of light-related activity near Wiley Post Airport.
