🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A cyclist in London, Ohio, observed a transparent object with dark patches moving slowly near the ground. The witness, employed at a criminal identification office, described a wing-like shape with a mysterious structure that appeared to have cabins or containers. Although he tried comparing it to conventional aircraft, it didn't match any known plane. The object made no sound and moved at a speed of 10-15 mph. The witness, who wore glasses and there were no clouds, estimated the object to be 300-400 feet away. Despite his efforts, he couldn't precisely identify the object.
The Air Force concluded there was insufficient data for a scientific evaluation. The report includes sketches from the witness showing a wing or rotor structure with a southward direction. The witness mentioned the object might have collided with birds, explaining the dark patches. Despite the clarity of the observation, the official report reached no definitive conclusion.
