In March 1967, a Memphis, Tennessee social worker observed an unidentified aerial object described as a dark cigar with lights on the underside. The lights blinked in a sequential pattern, creating a wavy effect. The witness, accustomed to sky watching, saw the object for 20-30 seconds, almost directly overhead, before it vanished instantly to the north.
