🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1967, a witness in Corvallis, Oregon, reported seeing a bright object in the southern sky. They described a round object the size of a pinhead, red and yellow in color. The object did not disappear and moved back and forth. Investigators concluded it could have been Mars, which was in a position and brightness matching the observation. However, the possibility of a hot-air balloon or even a plastic bag with candles, commonly used by pranksters to simulate UFOs, was also considered. The report details normal weather conditions and no physical evidence was found.
