Summary

In April 1967, several witnesses in Houma, Louisiana, reported seeing star-shaped objects with red, green, and white colors. These objects slowly faded to the north after about 40 minutes. At the same time, Houma Air Force Base radar detected a single object approximately 12 miles away at an altitude between 23,000 and 27,000 feet. However, no clear connection was established between the visual sightings and the radar contact. The following night, a circular object the size of a dime, white and occasionally green, was seen moving south and then east. This object remained visible all night, but precise details about its elevation and trajectory were missing. The lack of detailed information hindered a definitive evaluation of the case.

The official report concluded that there was insufficient evidence to determine the nature of the observed objects. Military authorities considered that more data was needed, but it was already too late to obtain it. The visual descriptions lacked crucial details such as elevation angles and other key information necessary for a more accurate assessment. Despite the observers noting that the sky was partially cloudy, it was not specified whether the objects were above or below the clouds. The case remains an unresolved mystery.
