🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1967, a round object was observed over Minneapolis, Minnesota. The report describes an object the size of a football with a noticeable glow. Between one and multiple objects were reported, and on some occasions a stream of flame was observed. Witnesses noted that the object traveled slower at lower altitudes and that its glow would go out or disappear. The sighting occurred between 20:10 and 20:50 local time, at night, with no visible clouds.
The report, partially illegible, mentions that observers included both civilians and military personnel. Details such as wind direction, speed, and absence of storms were recorded. Despite favorable weather conditions, no conventional explanation was found for the phenomenon. The official conclusion was a hot air balloon, but the testimony suggests this did not fully explain what was seen.
