Cylindrical UFO seen in Alabama in 1967

Summary

In April 1967, a couple in Wilmer, Alabama, observed an unidentified cylindrical object. The report details that the UFO had a truncated end, with a flat base and a height of 25 feet. It emitted a very bright yellow light, similar to an incandescent bulb. Witnesses confirmed that the object moved slowly toward the southwest without performing maneuvers and disappeared within ten minutes. Two observers, including a reliable housewife, agreed on the description of the phenomenon.

The event occurred on a clear night with many visible stars. Witnesses included the couple and another person who observed the object from a car. Animals in a pasture reacted as if disturbed. Despite the location near Mobile Municipal Airport, no air traffic was recorded in the area at that time.
