🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1967, a witness in Tucson, Arizona reported observing a luminous object moving along a descending path. The object was described as round, bright, and orange-red in color, without blinking. Initially thought to be an aircraft, there was no clear evidence to confirm this hypothesis. The sighting lasted between 5 and 7 minutes, and the object disappeared over the horizon. The official report concluded that it could not be ruled out as an aircraft, but no additional data supported this.
The report includes detailed questions about the observation, such as the exact location, weather conditions, and the witness's perception. Despite confirmation from two other observers, there was no radar tracking or clear explanation of the object's nature. The area where the object was seen is near a mountain with radar antennas, suggesting it could have been related to obstacle lighting, although the possibility of a UFO was not dismissed.
