🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1967, a citizen of Portland, Oregon reported an unidentified flying object that remained in the sky for several minutes. The witness described a flat, disc-like object with unusual movement. The Air Force requested a detailed questionnaire, but the original report was brief and lacked technical details. Despite this, the report suggests the object was neither a natural phenomenon nor a conventional aircraft.
The official Air Force document stated that the provided information was insufficient for a scientific evaluation. The witness was asked to complete a more detailed form, the FTD Form 164, to gather more data. Although the testimony did not include photos or physical evidence, the object was described as luminous and with unpredictable movements. Like many other cases from that era, this one was classified as "unidentified" with no conclusive explanation reached.
