In July 1967, a witness in Manchester, New Hampshire, reported an unidentified flying object that appeared as a red light with white highlights. The object made no sound and remained visible for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Although the possibility of an aircraft was considered, the description of the object did not match typical aircraft features. The witness could not identify the object or estimate its speed or distance, which complicated the evaluation. The lack of physical or photographic evidence and the absence of other witnesses further hindered the investigation.
The official report suggested it could have been an aircraft with landing lights, but the testimony did not confirm this hypothesis. The description of the object as a cylindrical shape with blurred edges and no exhaust trail or vapor added mystery to the case. Despite follow-up attempts, no additional information was obtained to identify the phenomenon. This incident was included in unresolved UFO files, highlighting the need for more data for a precise evaluation.
