Tear-shaped UFO in Utah from 1967

In August 1967, an observer in Price, Utah, described a bright tear-shaped object that took off from the ground. While driving, he noticed a luminous figure with an illuminated interior that ascended and then flew away at an angle. The car's occupants, who were asleep, were called to witness the phenomenon. Despite the clear description, no physical evidence or photographs were found.

The Air Force responded that a thorough investigation would not be conducted due to the report's age, but suggested it might have been a hot air balloon made from plastic bags. These objects are often white, red, or yellow and can stay airborne for five to fifteen minutes. Although not confirmed, the explanation did not rule out the possibility of a UFO.
