🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1967, a boy in the Florida Keys was struck by an unidentified object. His parents believed it could be satellite debris, a meteorite, or even a UFO. The material, described as cinder-like, was submitted for analysis. Results showed it was actually coke, a common industrial material, and not of extraterrestrial origin. Although local media showed interest, no conclusive evidence of an unusual phenomenon was found. The case was closed as a natural object with no connection to UFO sightings.
The official investigation concluded the material had no relation to unidentified flying objects. Chemical analysis revealed typical terrestrial elements like carbon, iron, and silicon. Despite initial suspicions, there was no indication the object came from space. The official report classified the case as non-UFO related, closing one of the few physical specimens analyzed during that period.
