🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1967, a witness in New York observed an unidentified object for approximately 25 minutes. The object appeared as a bright light with sharp edges, slightly darker than the sky. It moved in a southwest direction, disappearing behind a tree. Although it was mentioned that it might have been pursued by an F-100A, there was no confirmation that any aircraft were in the area at that time. The Air Force investigation found no conventional explanations, and the report concluded that the phenomenon could not be identified.
The witness, a former military officer, described in detail the trajectory and behavior of the object, although there was no physical evidence or photographs. The Air Force consulted several air bases and airports, but none reported activity that could explain the sighting. In the end, investigators concluded that the report did not provide enough information for a conclusive scientific analysis.
