🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1967, an air base in Michigan recorded multiple unidentified objects on its radar. Observers didn't see anything visually, but tracked 17 objects over 19 minutes. Data showed speeds ranging from 150 to 2000 mph, unusual behaviors, and unpredictable paths. Military authorities didn't take interception action, as rules required approval from a higher command. Additionally, only a local radar detected the objects, raising doubts about their authenticity. A later analysis suggested a thermal inversion might have caused false radar returns, explaining the phenomenon without needing extraterrestrial entities.
