🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Desoto, Missouri, observed a bright object in the sky that initially appeared to be a star due to its intense light. However, the object soon showed unusual behavior, including a whizzing sound that caught the observer's attention. The sighting lasted about 20 minutes, giving the witness enough time to carefully observe the phenomenon.
The Air Force investigation considered the sound unlikely to be connected to the object, especially if it was far away, as it would be hard to hear from a moving car. Additionally, the description of the object as a bright point in the sky led to the possibility that it could be a satellite. Although no physical evidence was found, the report suggests the case might be related to a satellite, which would explain several aspects of the event.
