In March 1959, several witnesses in Bergen, Norway, reported bright objects in the sky. According to Birger Storesund, five objects crossed the sky from north to south, with the first appearing at 20:10 and disappearing in two minutes. Observers noted that the objects made no sound and their size and appearance resembled Soviet satellites. Storesund's dog, trained to react to aircraft, showed no interest, suggesting they were not conventional objects. Several neighbors also confirmed the sighting using binoculars.
