🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1967, a witness in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, reported an aerial phenomenon described as two saucers glued together with a strip in the middle. The object was visible for about ten minutes and at one point hovered only 30 to 50 feet above a house. The witness, who claimed to have seen many flying saucers before, did not draw attention from others, possibly due to the early hour or lack of traffic in the area. The description, though imprecise due to possible OCR errors, suggests an unusual and non-conventional shape, prompting interest from military authorities.
The sighting was officially recorded by the air authorities of the time, who requested additional details from the witness for a more accurate assessment. Although the report contains some inconsistencies, such as the claim that the witness had never seen a similar phenomenon before despite prior experience, the case was classified as an unreliable report. No conventional explanations, such as planes or weather balloons, matched the description. Nonetheless, the testimony is part of the historical UFO investigation records, where all types of reports are collected for analysis.
