In March 1960, several witnesses in Sweden observed unidentified flying objects and a mysterious satellite. A report from the newspaper *Dagens Nyheter* details how a Linjeflyg crew spotted a luminous object, which experts believed could be an unknown satellite. Astronomer Gunnar Larsson-Länder confirmed it was not a meteor.
Photographer Esse Jansson also captured images of two objects that suddenly changed direction—an unusual behavior for satellites. A resident of Bromma reported seeing the satellite 1960 Alpha through binoculars, describing odd movement. These sightings and photographs sparked interest in the possibility of an unusual space phenomenon or perhaps an UFO.
