🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1967, a witness in Duluth, Minnesota, observed an unidentified object stationary in the sky. The phenomenon was seen for five minutes and described as a bright object with small red spots. Two nights later, the local newspaper published reports of similar sightings, leading the witness to realize she had seen a UFO. Later, on December 14, she and her husband saw four more objects with the same characteristics, moving westward.
The witness, though not an astronomy expert, noted there were no visible stars or planets in that part of the sky. No sounds or physical evidence were recorded, and the official report classified the phenomenon as possibly astronomical, though without a clear explanation. This case illustrates how UFO sightings can coincide with local waves of reports, generating interest and confusion within the community.
